When Kid Icarus: Uprising launches on the 3DS later this month, players will have a chance to get reacquainted with angelic hero Pit, who hasn’t starred in a game since 1991’s Game Boy sequel to his NES classic. And if Nintendo has its way, you’ll be sucked into a world of real-world card collecting once the introductions are over.
Nintendo has confirmed that 3DS game Kid Icarus: Uprising won’t be available to buy in GAME and Gamestation. Its list of shops selling the 3DS title does not include the struggling high street retailer – thought to be facing administration.
Nintendo have released 123 new screenshots depicting the action that will be under taken when Kid Icarus: Uprising is released this year. It includes a very interesting feature that we have seen very little of since the Nintendo 3DS launch just under 12 months ago.
Nintendo have released the latest trailer and 34 new images for Kid Icarus: Uprising on the Nintendo 3DS. The trailer shows everyone what to expect from the game when it eventually arrives sometime this year. Stuck in development, Kid Icarus: Uprising was due to be a spectacular launch title for the 3D handheld but was delayed. Kid Icarus: Uprising, the next in the series, will return on the 3DS and come accompanied with the new Circle Pad Pro. The game’s director Masahiro Sakurai has said the add-on will allow left-handed gamers to control the action shooter in a way that will be a heck of a lot more comfortable. Read On »
Nintendo have now confirmed that a franchise that has been left dead in the water for nearly 25 years will be making it’s comeback on the Nintendo 3DS – Kid Icarus. Now whilst this news is not, unknown, Nintendo have now advised that the title will be called Kid Icarus Uprising and Pit, our hero, must fend off the malevolent threat from Medusa and the Underworld army.
