Jill_Porthole_Artwork Capcom have long dodged the subject of a HD version of Resident Evil Revelations on the 3DS despite numerous leaks and even an achievement list appearing online. They have finally caved and announced a console version will be coming in May.

Resident Evil Revelations will feature on the Xbox 360, WiiU, PlayStation 3 and PC and will be more or less the same game as the Nintendo 3DS version but with a few additions. A terrifying new enemy, extra difficulty mode and improvements to Raid Mode such as new weapons, skill sets and extra characters will be playable in the returning raid mode.

For those who haven’t played the 3DS version of Revelations, the action takes place between Resident Evil 4 & 5 with Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield heading up the leading characters. The game features the same AI partnering system that has been in place since Resident Evil 5.

Resident Revelations will release 24th May across the formats with digital releases for PlayStation 3 and PC launching at the same time. WiiU and Xbox will have marketplace downloads at a later date.
