A Limited edition of Dark Souls has been announced as well as additional images and a trailer direct from E3 by Namco Bandai. The Prepare to Die Edition will include more content than the original game and expand on the world of Lordan.

Following on from the main game released in 2011, the Prepare to Die edition will release on the PC 24th August and the Xbox 360 & PS3 in the winter. As well as the main game, the limited edition will include a 150 page art book, behind the scenes DVD and a soundtrack CD. Extra content in the form of Artorias of the Abyss DLC pack hosts New Bosses including Black Dragon, Sanctuary Guardian, and many more. New enemies will occupy new areas and there will be more Non-Playing Characters to interact with.

For those who already have the game on the consoles, the DLC is available separately at the same time as the Limited Edition launches in the winter.

Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition will launch on 24 August for the PC and later in the year for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
