Activision have announced the next Marvel game and unlike previous titles it is not based on any up and coming movie or TV tie in. Deadpool, a mutant of the X-Men world has powers of super speeds that means he can shoot and swing his duel swords at speeds of light. The outrageous mercenary will be staring in his own game next year.

Deadpool originally started life in 1991 as a villan in the marvel universe before turning good. He appears in X-Men Origins: Wolverine as Ryan Reynolds before his face became scared and was given his trademark look. In animated appearances he is voiced by Nolan North as he will be in the game.

This will be a mature a title to say the least. Not much else is known at this point but the game will presumably launch on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC from next year.
