DmC release date confirmed

The reboot of the Devil May Cry series known simply as DmC has been given an official release date for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles by Capcom and developer Ninja Theory.

The game will launch on 15th January next year. This is presumably an attempt to give Resident Evil 6 the best opportunity to sell well over the Christmas period as other heavyweight games will be releasing around the same time.

Also, it gives Ninja Theory more time to perfect the game that has so far been received with a few raised eyebrows.

Look out for DmC on consoles from the 15th January and PCs later in 2013.
