The Wii U version of Madden 13 has been formally announced by EA. The announcement details what to expect from the game and the unique features that will be incorporated into the Nintendo version of the game as it makes use of the Wii U Gamepad. They haven’t announced a release date for the game, however have said that Madden 13 will be on sale with the system when it launches in November.

The game will bring the Madden series on the Nintendo console into the era of high definition. It will bring a new gameplay experience that means that players are more animated, easier to control and the plays are simpler to execute. With the Wii U Gamepad, play calling, pre-snap adjustments and personnel management can all be carried out with a tap on the screen. It also allows you to either play on the field or take up a managerial position on the side lines.

Madden 13 will be a launch game for the Wii U and is also available on all other platforms from 28th September.
