The Kinect version of Harry Potter is coming along nicely we have been told, and to give gamers a taste of the game that Potterheads will be playing on 12th October, Warner Brothers have released a demo of the game, which is available from the Market Place now. To accompany this announcement, we have new screenshots from the game for you to cast your muggle eyes over.

Harry Potter Kinect is based upon all eight of the Potter movies and puts players in the middle of Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry as they take lessons, play Quidditch and battle Death Eaters with Harry, Hermione and Ron. The game will include a series of mini games that can be played either on their own or with friends.

The demo itself will have three games available. Quidditch Seeker: where players have to dodge characters and grab the Golden Snitch. Journey to the Lestrange Vault sees players guiding a cart with the Kinect sensor through Gringotts to the valut of Bellatrix. Finally, we have Destroy The Bridge where players cast magic spells in battles with Death Eaters.

The full game of Harry Potter Kinect will be available on Xbox 360 12th October and as the name suggests, you will need Kinect to play it.
