Nintendo have released the latest trailer and 34 new images for Kid Icarus: Uprising on the Nintendo 3DS. The trailer shows everyone what to expect from the game when it eventually arrives sometime this year. Stuck in development, Kid Icarus: Uprising was due to be a spectacular launch title for the 3D handheld but was delayed. A further delay was announced in September and we revealed last week that the reason for this is because they have added Circle Pad Pro Support to the game.

The trailer shows that there will be a lot of action for Pit to contend with and from the looks of things he is doing very well for himself. The game starts with the return of the dark goddess Medusa. With the help of Palutena, goddess of light it is up to Pit to defeat the dark army and Medusa herself.

To help Pit on his way are many different weapons such as the trusty bow and arrow combo or claws for up close combat. While there are a number of different weapons, there is also a number of different ways to play the game depending on each player’s preference. Along with these is the new Circle Pad Pro accessary, offering an alternate control scheme for left-handed players. With the Circle Pad Pro, players hold the stylus in their left hand and use the Circle Pad with their right hand.

Kid Icarus: Uprising will launch at some point this year on the Nintendo 3DS. Hopefully.
