Majora’s Mask Opera

Majora’s Maks is arugably one of the darkest games in the Zelda series. With bullying, impending death by moon, love triangles, the quest to find missing loved ones, child abduction and Gibdo fathers, it’s something that sounds like it’s straight from a greek tragedy. So much so that some dedicated fans have got together to create Majora’s Mask the Opera.

Whilst still in the early stages of development, the Majora’s Mask Opera has a lot of potential and if the current train of thought is anything to by, it’s going to be shut down by Nintendo shortly for being too good.

From what we can see, they’ve making a few changes to some key things, like killing the Monkey rather than saving it, but this is to add dramatic tension.

It’s clear that there’s a lot of time being put into this opera, although I’m personally a little disappointed by the lack of really, incredibly high vocals.

We’re going to be keeping eye on this project, but you can keep track on their Facbeook page, YouTube page, Tumblr, Twitter and blog.
