The latest round of firmware has been released for the PlayStation 3, and Sony are now offering PlayStation Plus users exclusive content that usual users are unable to gain access to.

The update offers automated Trophy syncing, the ability to have game files automatically saved to a cloud server and an all new PlayStation Store with content recommendation and additional media streaming. Prior to this update only downloadable content has been restricted to PlayStation Plus users, and this marks the start of a revised strategy for Sony with the PlayStation.

With the problems of earlier in the year, security compromised and months of work to correct the issue, Sony are making it clear that having a Plus account is not just about downloadable content; but making the entire user experience more enjoyable.
