So it’s Nintendo Monday. Well, that’s pushing it a little, but Nintendo UK today revealed this week’s update to the eShop/Virtual Console and there are several new additions that might be worth the spend. Of course, some are larger titles than others but for the most part, it’s a good haul.

So this week there are:

Zen Pinball 3D – Nintendo 3DS – £4.50
Zen Pinball 3DS is the pinball game on handhelds according to Zen Studios. There are new tables available, online leaderboards and in-game friend challenges. We’ve reviewed the Xbox 360 version of this game, which can be read here.

Lock’n Chase – Nintendo 3DS – £2.70
The chase is on to catch a master thief. He’s fast, sneaky and runs rings around the cops. No bank is safe from…you! In classic arcade action game LOCK’N CHASE you must dash around the maze-like bank vaults, grabbing all the coins while avoiding the guards. As you progress, the banks get bigger and the riches become greater; but the guards get tougher too…

Castle Conqueror Revolution – Nintendo 3DS and DSi – £4.50
You are a member of a family of military geniuses who have lived in peace on a beautiful island for many years. But then the Empire arrived on the island and took control of everything. They have ruined the island’s environment in their search valuable resources and gold and it is now up to you to stop the Empire and protect your people by becoming a commander and leading them against the evil Empire.

21: Blackjack – Nintendo 3DS, DSi – £1.80
Now you can take the thrill of the casino on-the-go with 21: Blackjack. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a rookie at the table, 21: Blackjack has a variety of gameplay options to take your skills to the next level. You can change the payouts, number of decks in play, splitting options and even if the dealer hits on a soft 17, and these are just a few of the many advanced gameplay options.

Gnomz – WiiWare – 500 Wii Points
Gnomz is a new exciting arcade fighter for WiiWare. Up to four people can play against each other and/or AI opponents in three different game modes for hours of gnome bashing, smashing, bumping and dumping.

Finally, this week Nintendo are releasing a number of new videos for the Nintendo Video part of the Nintendo 3DS. The first clip in a series of magical performances by the world famous circus “Arlette Gruss”. Circus 3D is a series of clips which will transport you into a world of a real life circus and put you the viewer in the heart of the action wherever you may be. Take in a birds-eye view of an acrobat on parallel bars or feel like you are with the artists on stage through innovative points of views. Watch an aerial performance from the floor or the point of view from inside a cage with tigers. Circus 3D will offer you an exhilarating experience which immerses you into circus life as if you were actually there, all in 3D and in the palm of your hand.

Also available this week via Nintendo Video is a clip of The Legend of Zelda Great Fairy’s Fountain Theme from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past which was performed as part of The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony CD recordings.
