Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D Demo to hit 3DS this week

Konami has announced that a playable demo of Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D will come to the 3DS eShop this week.

According to Konami, “the demo showcases the opening segment of the game, with series hero Snake picking a path through the swamps and foliage of a Soviet jungle in search of an imprisoned scientist.”

In addition, “players will also be able to experiment with the unique camouflage elements that allow Snake to blend in with his surroundings, and familiarize themselves with the close-quarters combat techniques used to quietly neutralize guards.”

This continues Nintendo’s trend of releasing playable demos ahead of their release, joining the Resident Evil Revelations demo that hit the eShop earlier this year.

The demo will be released on February 16th. Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D will hit stores on February 21st.
