Pokemon Black 2 & Pokemon White 2 dated

The first direct sequels to one of Nintendo’s most popular video game series has been given a firm release date for the United Kingdom. Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 will both launch on the Nintendo DS from 12th October this year.

This comes off the back of the news that both titles reached a combined total of 1.6 million sales in two days in Japan alone – the third fastest launch of a Japanese video game in the country’s history. Pokemon Black and White hold the top spot with over 2.5 million in two days, just so you know.

For 3DS users: Pokemon Radar – the augmented reality game that allows you to catch rare and legendary Pokemon in your own home or when you are out and about and transfer them to the new games will also be available from 12 October from the 3DS eshop.
