The Nintendo 3DS hit the shelves of UK retailers only a few short months ago and already Nintendo have been forced to radically reduce the price of it’s latest generation console. From poor marketing to a slow release lineup and a damaged and limited world economy the price has been cut, nearly in half according to some reports.

The “all new” Nintendo 3DS will hit shelves across the country tomorrow, with revised pricing and point of sale adverts. Some stores are going a step further, with Tesco selling the device at just £115! This marks a 50% reduction in only 5 months, a drastic price cut and a huge change in Nintendo’s strategy with the console.

Other retailers are looking at the £120-£135 mark, from Morrison’s to GameStop all within that price bracket.

However, Tesco may yet still change their price with the launch being only a few short hours away. Either way, the time is now ripe to get a Nintendo 3DS as it really can’t get much cheaper than this.
