UK Charts – Week 14
Happy Tuesday! So with the bank holiday yesterday pretty much being a wipe out for all concerned, the good people at UKIE sent through their details today instead of yesterday. With this in mind, it’s time to celebrate the casual gamer, who’s also somewhat geeky. Yes, it’s true, seeing the Dark Side dance in strange ways clearly makes some people very happy, as it’s managed to top the charts this week. With some football stuff following suit.
Why the football hate? I just can’t help it, it’s in my vains. Either way, seeing Star Wars Kinect at the top of the throne this week goes to show how much Star Wars has influence over gamers today. Although I think most signifcant is the huge jump that Skylanders has had. Is it the advertising or just because it looks like a good Easter present. The jury’s out on that one.

Many people are moaning, a lot, about Star Wars Kinect. Whilst it may not have had very favourable reviews from critics in the gaming world, it’s clear that it’s got the pull required to ignore the critics. Games are becoming ever more like films, throw a large budget at it and it’ll sell, even if it’s a heaped pile of excrement like Wrath of the Titans.
As always, we’ll have more next Monday!
