UK Charts Week 15

16 April, 2012 - 5:10 pm by

Another week and another EA title storming to the top of the charts. Yes, FIFA Street has made it too the top of the charts after Star Wars Kinect was keeping the spot warm. Four of the top Five spots are occupied by Electronic Arts, who have dominated 2012 so far. Head in side for the rest of the movers and shakers for the last week in video games.

From storming to the top of the charts, Star Wars languishes in 4th place. The force obviously isn’t strong with this one (I’m really sorry, I had too). Sports and travelling through space are what the public wants as shown by the top 5, however last year’s big sellers, Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3 and Skyrim are all hanging on to solid top 10 positions. Mario & Sonic are 9th, mainly due to the high profile of the 2012 Olympics. Or is it Mario & Sonic are raising the profile of the Olympics?

SSX – another EA title – is rounding off the ten. That takes EA’s total 6 games out of 10 at the top of the pops. The full chart list is as follows:
