New Tiger Woods Kinect Video
EA have released a promotional video showing how Kinect is used in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13. This is the first time EA have built a controller free sports game, taking it one step further than the motion controls used for previous games on the Nintendo Wii. WARNING: the video does contain gratuitous amounts of over acting and cheesyness. You have been warned!
UK Charts – Week 12
Another week has flown by and even with the release of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, it has been unable to release the strangle-hold EA have with the top of the charts. Debuting at a respectable number 2 position, it was unable to knock Fifa Street off the top spot.
Epic Mickey 3DS announced
As well as the news that Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two has been confirmed to be in development, Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion is also being created exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.
Assassin’s Creed III Special Editions & WiiU information
Assassin’s Creed III will have 3 special editions for gamers to choose from when the game launches on 31st October. Ubisoft have confirmed that the 3 editions will be available for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms but no news on any WiiU versions save for the normal edition.
Epic Mickey 2 is a go!
The follow up of the 2010 smash hit Wii title: Epic Mickey has been given the green light for a sequel. Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two sees Mickey’s return to the wasteland, this time with a new partner: Oswald the Rabbit as they explore new areas. The game is being developed primarily for the Nintendo Wii, however HD ports to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 will also be released to increase the amount of exposure for the game.
GAME Group enters administration
The struggling GAME Group PLC has officially called the administrators in resulting in the instant closure of 277 of it’s 600 stores. It is sad news for the games industry to lose the only national video game supplier, but our thoughts are with the 2104 people who no longer have a place of work to go to.
Birthday Present From Nintendo
Those with their Nintendo 3DS connected to the internet and have Spot Pass activated will have received a visit from a special somebody over the weekend. To celebrate the console’s 1st birthday, Nintendo have sent the head of the company – Satoru Iwata to help out in the StreetPass Plaza!
LittleBigPlanet Karting is confirmed.
A title we reported on as being in development last month has finally been confirmed by Sony. LittleBigPlanet Karting is on it’s way to PlayStation 3’s at some point this year! We have the first screenshots and video direct from Sony inside.
Bioware address fans on Mass Effect ending

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD
The game that kicked off the obsession of skating and extreme sports in video games, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater is getting a revamp and high definition make-over over 10 years since the original PlayStation game. Cleverly titled Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD, Activision and developers Robomodo have rebuilt the original game from the ground up to create a new version in the hopes to restart the series.
