Pokemon Black 2 & Pokemon White 2 dated
The first direct sequels to one of Nintendo’s most popular video game series has been given a firm release date for the United Kingdom. Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 will both launch on the Nintendo DS from 12th October this year.
Sega doors are closing around Europe
Sega have announced what many were suspecting for a few weeks now. In an attempt to restructure their business, the company have announced closures in offices through out Europe. France, Germany, Spain, Australia and Benelux are being closed and the marketing for games will be handed to local businesses. Sega will now be focusing on digital releases for their games rather than the traditional boxed retail format.
Expendables now turned into a game
Not content with blowing everything up on screen, Sylvester Stallone and crew have made it onto a video game. Yes there will be a video game based upon the latest Expendables film. Created by Ubisoft, the game brings together 4 of the baddest members of the Expendables crew – Barney Ross (Stallone), Gunner Jensen (Lundgren), Hale Caesar (Crews) and Yin Yang (Li) to save a Billionaire from bad guys.
3DS XL will get a Circle Pad Pro
Japanese gaming bible Famitsu have stated in a recent interview that Nintendo will indeed support the larger 3DS console with an extra large Circle Pad Pro attachment this year. As it is still being worked on, there are no images to show you.
Mass Effect 3 DLC delayed for PS3 owners
PlayStation 3 players will have to wait for the much anticipated Downloadable Content Extended Cut ending of Mass Effect 3. No reason has been given by either Sony or EA for this. The content was launched yesterday for Xbox 360 consoles and PlayStation 3s outside of Europe.
Music from Final Fantasy coming to Scotland
Taking place for the first time in Scotland, Square Enix are bringing Distant Worlds – music from Final Fantasy to Edinburgh on 4th November. This is to celebrate the 25 years of the series and will be an experience along the lines of the Zelda symphony tour or Video Games Live and will be one not to watch.
Resistance is no more
Daniel Brooke, SCEE’s online producer has announced that the Resistance series, which launched along since the PlayStation 3 in 2006 is no longer being persued. In a statement to Official PlayStation Magazine he said: “The Resistance franchise has been exciting to work on but as for the future we have no definitive plans.”
The Fifa 13 Ultimate experience
EA have today announced that there will be a collectors edition of the football game everyone wants. Yes, it comes as no great surprise that Fifa 13 will have an “Ultimate Edition.” For fans who buy this will be rewarded with 24 ultimate team gold packs that will contain 12 items such as players, contracts, stadiums and managers.
Far Cry 3 delayed
It seems many companies at the moment are keeping to their original release date any more. First Resident Evil 6, DmC, Assassin’s Creed 3 and who knows when Anarchy Reigns is being set free.. Now in the long line of push backs we are sad to announce that the tropical shooter – Far Cry 3 has been moved back from it’s September release.
LittleBig Planet Vita pre-order bonus
