Prepare yourselves – CoD is bringing back the Zombies
Activision has released a teaser trailer for Call of Duty Black Ops 2 showing that the zombies are returning to the game. A full reveal is expected in just a few short days as Activision look to build on the Call of Duty momentum as we edge ever closer to the November release. Head inside for the new trailer.
PlayStation 3 Super Slim Confirmed
On 25th September the UK will have a new, slimmer PS3 on the shelves. The 500GB console that we broke the news on in July has finally been confirmed by Sony. The console, which is approx 25% smaller than the Slim PS3 and half the size of the original toaster PlayStation 3 was announced in Tokyo this morning and will retail for around £299.99 from most retailers.
Gamestation to disappear
The Game group have announced that it will consolidate its Gamestation brand and move forward with only GAME stores remaining. By the end of October Gamestation stores will have either been rebranded GAME or closed completely depending on the situation in each town. Part of this decision was spurred on after the group went into administration earlier this year. To encourage gamers who always used the Station GAME will launch an improved loyalty scheme as well as other new features.
UK Charts Week 37
Sleeping Dogs may have reclaimed the top spot last week but will the game from Square manage to hold of a new challenger this week or will Tekken Tag Tournament 2 smash its way to number one? Well this week we find out. Head inside to get the low down.
New ZombiU information
In Nintendo’s Direct conference, more details came out surrounding Ubisoft’s Zombie-em-up, ZombiU. Set in a London that has been ravaged with a Zombie outbreak gamers play a group of survivors on a mission to get out of the city and survive. Details of game modes have emerged, and it looks and sounds painful no matter which way you look at things.
First UK prices coming in for the Wii U
Well it has been approximatley an hour and a half since the Nintendo Europe presentation and we are already starting to get the first prices for the Wii U console and its games. It will not be until closer to the release when prices will be set in stone so take them with a pinch of salt for now, but it looks promising.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Wii U Details
In the Nintendo of America presentation it was announced that Call of Duty Black Ops 2 will be a launch game for the Wii U console and Activision were on hand to explain what new features to expect and what they have done to make the Wii U version stand out from the competition. Inside, we have a summary about what Call of Duty has.
Monster Hunter 3
Capcom have exclusively announced that Monster Hunter 3 will be coming to Europe in March 2013. What we do know is that a 3DS version will release on the same day. The save data will be interchangeable between consoles. Much like how the Vita and PlayStation 3 interact. However it appears that Nintendo are keen to get the ball rolling within the console specified launch window.
Wii U Launching 30th November
Nintendo will launch the Wii U console this year. The console will launch 30th November. The bundles will be the same as the Japanese versions: A White console will be the budget 8GB version. The Black 32GB version Wii U will be also be available. Two AC adaptors – one for the console and one for the controller will be included as will a GamePad. The Sensor bar and Nintendoland will be included in the premium pack unlike the Japanese equivalents.
Wii U information hot from Japan
Nintendo have started their day of presentations for the new Wii U console. They have lifted the lid so far on the Japanese release date, price and key guts of the machine itself. We only have a few hours left of waiting until we know what we are getting in Europe but let’s take a look at what information we have to go on.
