Wildkeepers Rising a New Take on the Bullet Heaven Genre is Coming to PC
A new challenger in the “Bullet Heaven” genre of games has emerged. Wildkeepers Rising: Echoes of the Guardians has been announced by the Canadian Indie developer Lioncode Games and is coming soon to Steam. The studio has been around since 2020 and has previously produced the S-RPG Mech Armada.

After releasing on Steam earlier in 2024, 3D Realms and Point N’ Sheep are bringing the stylistic 2D action adventure game Bloodless to Nintendo Switch. The game incorporates the styles of 1990s beat-em-ups like Streets of Rage with tough enemies to provide a Dark Souls-esq system that relies on leveling up skills and approaching each enemy methodically.

THQ Nordic confirms that Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition will become that little bit more definitive when it releases on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles in October. The original Darksiders 2 was released for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2012, before receiving a next-gen upgrade in 2015, and is widely considered one of the best entries in the action-adventure franchise.

Following on from My Time at Sandrock and My Time At Portia, My Time at Evershine is looking to bring together life simulation and RPG fans with an ambitious title that builds on the success of its predecessors.

Impact Gameworks confirms that the upcoming Flowerstone Saga has suffered a slight delay ahead of its original release date. The SNES-inspired JRPG was due to release on Steam today (17 September) but has suffered a last-minute delay due to an issue with Steam’s full controller support label.
