10 Anniversary Edition Xbox 360 leaked by Amazon.fr

Any gamer around in the wait for Twilight Princess will attest that online “leaks” are often worth about as much as another well known action for the word. Yet, it would appear that in recent years they’ve gotten a little more reliable and today the French edition of the popular online retailer, Amazon, outed a yet unannounced anniversary edition of the Xbox 360. Their decade old edition. Which, if correct, takes the number of editions available for the Xbox 360 to more than it’s age.

Amazon.fr, have not only put up a page for this console, but also some imagery and released some key details about the system. The 250gb version of the console will come bundled with:

• Halo Anniversary
• Halo Reach
• Gears of War 2
• Fable III
• 2 wireless controllers
• 3 month Xbox Live Gold membership

Unlike the Halo edition or any other edition, from the boxart it looks like this is a standard edition system with just the 10 year mark slapped all over it for marketing.

Amazon France is selling the console for €290, which means in the UK it will probably be £290, regardless of the fact that the conversion rates would actually make it closer to £250. It also states the release date is the 9 March 2012, which isn’t far away…
