Warner Bros. Interactive have officially announced LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. The upcoming game details had slowly been released in images provided inside LEGO toy sets produced last month. Warner Bros. have announced that the game will be released in Summer 2012.

Warner Bros. have stated that the Dynamic Duo Batman and Robin will join other famous super heroes from the DC universe including Superman, Wonder Woman and the Green Lantern to save Gotham City from the destructive aims of the notorious villains Lex Luthor and the Joker.

Fans of all ages are recommended to play the game that will involve the usual light hearted humour and action that all previous LEGO games provide.

The original LEGO Batman has sold over eleven million units and is available across all platforms. LEGO Batman 2 will be released on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DS, 3DS and Vita in Summer 2012.
