Super Rare Games Releases Two New Physical Games

Super Rare Games have worked magic on two new physical games, Nuclear Throne for the Nintendo Switch and Go Mecha Ball for PlayStation 5. Pre-orders are set to go live on 23 January 2025 at 6PM GMT and as always, each game will be limited in number.
Nuclear Throne will be Super Rare Games’ 126th title and be limited to 4000 copies when it goes on sale on 23 January. Vlambeer, Nuclear Throne is a top-down post-apocalyptic roguelike where players blast their way through dangerous wastelands with powerful weaponry, collecting radiation to mutate new limbs and abilities on the fly. The game will come on the cartridge, with internal artwork and a manual, all wrapped up in a lovely slipcover.
Nuclear Throne and Go Mecha Ball Get The Super Rare Treatment
Go Mecha Ball was developed by Whale Peak Games and published by Super Rare Games themselves so it seemed almost inevitable that the game would get a physical edition. The 13th game in the PS5 lineup joins self-published titles like Post Void and OTXO. The twin-stick shooter will be limited to 1500 PS5 discs and come packaged in a shiny slipcover with a full-colour manual.
Both Nuclear Throne and Go Mecha Ball can be purchased separately or as part of a bundle for their respective platforms:
Nintendo Switch Bundle #38 – £111.60
- SteamWorld Build
- Nuclear Throne
- Switch Game #127
PlayStation 5 Bundle #3 – £90

- PlayStation 5 Game #14
Nuclear Throne for Nintendo Switch and Go Mecha Ball for PlayStation 5 will be available for preorder from the Super Rare Games site on 23 January 2025 at 6PM GMT.
