Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Full Trailer

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has been given a brief showing by Activision today. A trailer just shy of 1 minute and thirty seconds has been revealed. As seen in the four previous trailers it features cities in England, America, France and Germany. The game takes place directly after the events of Modern Warfare 2 just as the world comes to war once more. As the trailer progresses we see New York completely devastated, with London, Berlin & Paris following closely behind. Read On

Soul Calibur V Announced

Namco Bandai today announced that the next instalment in the best selling franchise, Soul Calibur V will be released on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 in 2012. Picking up 17 years after the end of Soul Calibur IV, new and old heroes will grace the game and try and battle through an epic showdown of good vs evil.

Assassin’s Creed Revelations Announced

Ubisoft have today confirmed that the hit franchise – Assassin’s Creed is to get a new sequel – Assassin’s Creed Revelations, which is the fourth title to be developed in this hit series. Assassin’s Creed Revelations will be released on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 in November this year and will be available to play and enjoy at this year’s E3 convention in June.

Backbreaker: Vengeance Announced

505 Games today announced that Backbreaker: Vengeance, the next game in the Backbreaker franchise will be released on the Xbox Live Arcade in the summer.

According to 505 Games Backbreaker: Vengeance combines the AAA nature of the original game, with the pick-up-and-play nature of the iPhone title to create this new game. Vengeance will feature arcade action, bone crunching tackles and tons of swagger.

Guitar Hero Returns?

Dan Winters of Activision has revealed that the Guitar Hero series may not be killed off after all, instead he insists that this is just a “hiatus”. In an interview with Gameindustry.biz he says that “Actually, just to clarify, we’re just putting Guitar Hero on hiatus, we’re not ending it,” and that “we’ll continue to sustain the channel, the brand won’t go away. We’re just not making a new one for next year, that’s all.” Read On

Battlefield 3 Screens

Coupled with today’s news of a new Battlefield 3 trailer, EA have also released PlayStation 3 & Xbox 360 in-game screenshots. As an added bonus we have also been treated with story board and animation shots. From what can be seen, this game is graphically looking very sharp.

In Battlefield 3, players become the U.S. Marines in a first person shooting game. Missions will span across diverse locations including Paris, Tehran and New York. As bullets whiz by, as walls crumble, as explosions force players to the ground, the battlefield becomes a more terrifying part of the game as ever before!

Due out on the 2nd November, for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the game is a direct sequel to Battlefield 2 and is the twelfth game in the franchise.

 

Battlefield 3 Trailer Unveiled at MCV Awards

When some of the leading faces in the industry get together, it’s always a time to try and outshine each other and the MCV Awards yesterday is no different. Although the vast majority of attendees are actually developers, EA decided that it was high time to show them and by extension the rest of the world, a little trailer from their up and coming title: Battlefield 3.

Due out on the 2nd November, for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the game is a direct sequel to Battlefield 2 and is the twelfth game in the franchise. The 2.34 minute trailer can be seen below:
