Boulder Dash XL Trailer Announced
A new video for Boulder Dash XL has today been announced, and everyone’s favourite little miner is back to grab more gems and smashing ameobas. This little game originally made it’s debut in the early 1980s and continues to have a huge fanbase worldwide today. XL will feature HD look and feel with 720p graphics, 4 new game modes 25 retro modes, four varied worlds and a ton of new features.
Storm Announced for PSN and XBL
Zoo Entertainment today announced that they are developing a new videogame for the PlayStation Network and the Xbox Live, called Storm, which will be available in Summer 2011. In Storm you’ll be able to control the weather to grow seeds into the trees by guiding them through nature themed levels with peaceful background music.
Introducing Quizball Goal!
Quizball Goal is a new way of playing football as it is neither a Football simulator in the sense of the FIFA franchise or is a management simulator al-la Championship Manager. Nordic developers PAN Vision Group are calling this an arcade quiz football game. Players are controlled in the normal way, however to make a pass, tackle or shot the game requires players to answer a question based on the beautiful game.
AfterZoom Screens and Information
AfterZoom is a new exclusive game from the DSiware store. It is an Virtual Augmented game that takes place in a Lab with 3 main game modes, The Microscope, the Sample Bank and the Chemical Lab. The Microscope is useful to search for organisms and other elements on the player’s surroundings, which may be found in different places and at different zoom levels. Read On
Galaga Legions DX
In conjunction with it’s 30th year anniversary, Namco-Bandai have announced a special edition of Galaga Legions for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Previously released in 2007 on Xbox Live, the game featured beautiful HD graphics and swams of enemies for the player to fight though.
Namco-Bandai have improved on the original by updating the music and graphics and implemented a new Classic Mode with a control scheme that is closer to the original game. It also features 6 game modes with 60 levels!
No specific time for release has been given except for “2011”. However, here are some Screenshots to pour over until it is released.
ClusterMaster iOS Released
Tribeflame Oy today announced that their latest puzzle game, developed in collaboration with Dr. Reiner Knizia, ClusterMaster on the iOS.
With four modes of play, from time attack to meditative longer game modes this puzzle game is trying to cater to the masses and is all about matching up clusters in a grid of the same colour.
Designed to work on the iPhone and iPad, ClusterMaster is a free game that’s available immediately.
3D Twist & Match DSiWare Dated
Sanuk Games today announced that 3D Twist & Match, which is a frantic puzzler title, is due to be released on the Nintendo DSiWare in the UK on the 8th April 2011, at the price of 200 Nintendo Points.
3D Twist & Match is not a 3DS title, but tests your co-ordination and dexterity by making the player rotate 3D objects to match silhouettes, shadows and various other different puzzling shapes and options. With 10 different themes, three game modes, three levels of difficulty and 200 objects to match it’s certainly giving a lot for 200 Nintendo Points.

Plants vs. Zombies DS Relase Date Confirmed
It was today announced by Mastertronic that the living dead will battle the very things that keep humans alive on a new title for the Nintendo DS. PopCap’s Plants vs. Zombies will be released in the UK on the 6th May 2011.
As can be assumed by the game’s name, Plants vs Zombies is a title where the player controls a horde of plants with the ability to kill zombies in various different ways. Use peashooters, wall-nuts, cherry bombs and much more to destroy any zombie before they take over the world. With five different game modes to choose from, this ported title from Xbox Live is sure to be a hit.
Plants vs Zombies will be available on the 6th May 2011 by Mastertronic.
