Star Raiders Makes a Return on the Xbox 360

Atari Europe today announced the release of Star Raiders on the Xbox 360 for the Xbox Live. The return of Star Raiders combines aerial assaults and dogfights with a new storyline and visual style that will allow gamers who remember the 1979 classic to feel absorbed but also as if they are playing a new game.

News of Warlords Reboot

Atari are bringing the classic 1989 RPG “Warlords” to the screens of 21st Century gamers on the Xbox360 Live & PlayStation Network services this summer. The game will support one to four players as they battle to defend their castles from an onslaught of minions and a nasty fire-breathing dragon. To do this players will have to use a massive shield which is maneuvered around the castle walls to deflect attacks from fireballs, while also strategically planning the next moves of their armies.  Read On

Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D Details

Capcom today confirmed some more details for their up and coming game on the Nintendo 3DS, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D. With stages from Resident Evil 4 and 5, which have been adjusted and remastered to make the best of the 3DS, it’s a race against time to try and defeat as many enemies as possible before the timer runs out.

With multiplayer and co-op play via a network play, gamers will be able to tackle classic missions with various characters from the past and with the addition of the Skill Slot feature it makes for challenging play. Read On

Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters Screens & Information

New screenshots and information have come from the up and coming movie tie of The Green Lantern entitled The Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters. The game will be out on the PlayStaion 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS & 3DS and Nintendo Wii June 10, just in time for the movie release.

If playing on the Xbox 360 or PS3, you will have the ability to team-up and battle the Manhunters in seamless drop-in/drop-out local co-op.

The Nintendo 3DS version of the game is designed specifically to take advantage of the 3D capabilities, while Xbox 360 and PS3 gamers have the option to play in Red and Blue style 3D and comes with the glasses that come with the game… If that is not your bag then you can also play the game in stereoscopic 3D when playing on any 3D HDTV while wearing glasses that are compatible with the television.

The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions also have Ryan Reynolds (the Green Lantern in the feature film) lend his voice and likeness to the game. The screenshots can be found below.
