Wrecked: Revenge Revisited Trailer Released

505 Games and Supersonic today revealed their first trailer for Wrecked: Revenge Revisited, which is due to be released on the Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. This racing title is based on the original Wrecked from the days of the Dreamcast but has been updated to use the best of the XBL and PSN powers and is just as fast paced and actioned packed as it was a decade ago.

PlayStation Network Still Down

It’s been two weeks since the PlayStation Network infamously fell fowl to a hacking attack, the online system is still down with updates being provided on the PlayStation US and EU blogs. However, these updates aren’t actually telling users what they want to know. PSPgo Production Discontinued

Rumours are coming in thick and fast about the imminent demise of the Sony PSPgo for the UK. Reports are rife that Sony have ceased production of the machine in Japan and it would also appear that the Japanese Sony Store have removed the device from it’s website and Sony Store. This information is refuted however, but the clear signs that it still exists on the UK portal and is still purchasable.

Retailers are reporting a different story. The trade website, MCV have been advised that once retailers current stocks run dry, the distributors will have no replacement for the PSPgo, which coincides with the reports that production has now been discontinued. Read On

Wii Play: Motion News

Wii Play: Motion is the sequel to the smash hit Wii Play which was released as a launch game back in 2006. The game itself will compromise of 12 minigames making full use of the Wii Motion Plus controller. As with the previous installment this will come bundled with the game. The game will support up to 4 players but they must have either a Wii Remote Plus or the Motion Plus Add-on. Read On

GAME and Gamestation Kick Off Easter Sales Early

The specialist retailer GAME and Gamestation have both announced that they have started their Easter Sale early. Both GAME and GameStation have slashed hundreds of games and lots of hardware just in time for the Easter rush next week. With Kinect now at £79.99 and the PlayStation Move Starter Park at just £29.99.

There are consoles offers a plenty with Wii’s as cheap as £129.99 and games such as Little Big Planet for £19.99.

Backbreaker: Vengeance Announced

505 Games today announced that Backbreaker: Vengeance, the next game in the Backbreaker franchise will be released on the Xbox Live Arcade in the summer.

According to 505 Games Backbreaker: Vengeance combines the AAA nature of the original game, with the pick-up-and-play nature of the iPhone title to create this new game. Vengeance will feature arcade action, bone crunching tackles and tons of swagger.
