Vanquish Release on Games on Demand for Xbox Live

SEGA today announced that the latest game to be added to the Xbox Live’s Games on Demand service wil be Vanquish, which is available right now for 3200 Microsoft Points. This titles joins an expanding library of full titles available from SEGA such as Bayonetta, Aliens vs. Predator and Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing. Vanquish adds a new sci-fi mech swing to this set of games by putting the gamer in control of a versatile battle suit and waging war against hordes of soldiers and giant robots.

Dead Island Screenshots

The zombie slasher, Dead Island, today released 5 new screenshots showing off some of the more exotic locations for this new game, which is for the PS3 and the Xbox 360 and due out in the coming months.

Set in an open world tropical island, hordes of different festering zombies await players around every corner while they embark on a variety of thrilling missions through the holiday resort. With firearms and ammunition being scarce the player must rely on utilising found items as weapons for self-defence and fight off zombie hordes in intense melee combat. A diverse range of items can be collected and will later serve to transform the player’s ordinary makeshift weapons into serious instruments of destruction. Read On

Moon Diver Out Now On PSN

Square Enix have released their super anticipated Moon Diver on the PlayStation Network today at a price of £9.99 / €12.99 . The Four-Player Cooperative delivers fast-pasted gameplay presented in the classic side-scrolling format with hordes of enemies and big bosses to chop through.

 

The game features online or local play utilising drop in-drop out functions meaning anyone can join in at any time. Moon Diver also features a number of unique, selectable, upgradeable and cooperatively combinable special abilities called “MoonSault Combinations”, which give a range of power-ups from powerful attacks that spread the length of the screen to a more concentrated power boosts to help against the bosses.

 

This is only available on the PS3 at the moment however there is an Xbox Marketplace version on its way, we’ll keep you posted as soon as Square Enix announce this.
