hmv Launch Used Game App for Android and iPhone

The entertainment mega-shop hmv have now released two new apps, one for the Android and one for the iPhone, this app will allow gamers to scan games and check how much hmv are prepared to buy the games from you for. This will put a huge dent in strong position that stores like CEX have in the used game market in the UK.

Named re/play, the launch of this app is part of hmv‘s wider strategy that’s targeting the mobile experience. The apps are available free of charge and with immediate effect.

Backbreaker: Vengeance Announced

505 Games today announced that Backbreaker: Vengeance, the next game in the Backbreaker franchise will be released on the Xbox Live Arcade in the summer.

According to 505 Games Backbreaker: Vengeance combines the AAA nature of the original game, with the pick-up-and-play nature of the iPhone title to create this new game. Vengeance will feature arcade action, bone crunching tackles and tons of swagger.

ClusterMaster iOS Released

Tribeflame Oy today announced that their latest puzzle game, developed in collaboration with Dr. Reiner Knizia, ClusterMaster on the iOS.

With four modes of play, from time attack to meditative longer game modes this puzzle game is trying to cater to the masses and is all about matching up clusters in a grid of the same colour.

Designed to work on the iPhone and iPad, ClusterMaster is a free game that’s available immediately.

With the player in control of a ball, you’ve got to try and save a small community from the typical zombie invasion, by squashing them all. It’s Carmagedon but with balls.
