Gatling Gears Out on the Xbox Live Today
Vanguard Games and Electronic Arts have today announced that the high-intensity, twin stick shooter: Gatling Gears is now available on the Xbox Live Arcade for 1200 Microsoft Points and will also get a release on the PlayStation Network, when it’s back up and running. The game centres on Max Brawley, who suits up in his Gatling Gear mech to embark on an epic mission through 30 areas to save the planet and defeat the Empire.
Rotastic Information and Screens
Rotastic is a new 2D Puzzle game developed by Dancing Dots Studios coming soon to the Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network. Rotastic is a one-button gameplay mechanic that’s both fun and accessible for all types of players. Navigating each course is quite simple – press any button to hook your rope to the nearest anchor point, spin around, gather momentum and release the button to fly from point to point.
SEGA Announce Sale on Xbox Live Arcade Games
Sega Europe today announced that to celebrate the Xbox Nations event they will be discounting all of the Xbox Live Arcade games by as much as 50%! That’s 18 Sega games ranging from the Mega Drive all the way through to the DreamCast for a significant discount on the Xbox only.

The Fancy Pants Adventures Available Tomorrow
Electronic Arts today announced that Fancy Pants Adventures will be available on the PlayStation Network and the Xbox Live Arcade on the 21 April 2011. Fancy Pants was originally a flash game that has now been played over 100 million times is a sidescrolling game with a distinctive hand drawn feel.
With all new levels and never seen before modes of play, the console version of the game is very different to that available online. Read On
Backbreaker: Vengeance Announced
505 Games today announced that Backbreaker: Vengeance, the next game in the Backbreaker franchise will be released on the Xbox Live Arcade in the summer.
According to 505 Games Backbreaker: Vengeance combines the AAA nature of the original game, with the pick-up-and-play nature of the iPhone title to create this new game. Vengeance will feature arcade action, bone crunching tackles and tons of swagger.
Mega Man Universe Cancelled
It’s being reported that the Mega Man game that was due out this year – Mega Man Universe, which was due to be released in Japan on the PlayStation Network an Xbox Live Arcade and then was bound to be released in the UK, has now been cancelled.
Capcom Japan are stating that the game has been shut down for “various circumstances”. There’s no clarification further than that, Kotaku are speculating that it could be due to the fact that the Mega Man Universe level designer upped sticks and left Capcom earlier in the year.

Rush’N Attack: Ex-Patriot Announced PSN and XBL by Konami
Konami have today confirmed that their latest downloadable title, Rush’N Attack: Ex-Patriot will be available on both the Playstation Network and on the XBox live Arcade very shortly.
A modern take on the classic “run’n’gun” arcade game, by becoming a CIA operative code-named Wolf Spider through a heavily guarded Russian Prisoner Camp as he attempts to rescue an agent who’s been abandoned at the end of the Cold War. Sneaking in and out of cells, stealthily taking out guards and using a series of weapons to kill and protect, the title is a real throw back to the old arcade style games.
Rush’n Attack: Ex-Patriot is out on the 30th March 2011 on the Xbox Live Arcade for 800 Microsoft Points and on the Playstation Network on an unconfirmed date in April 2011 for £9.99.
