Mario Kart World has been confirmed as the headline launch title for the Nintendo Switch 2. As previously teased when we first got a look at the game in January, Mario Kart World will feature 24 characters per race across 7 new cups. Nintendo Set to Discontinue My Nintendo Points in the Most Nintendo Way Ever

Nintendo will end My Nintendo Gold points on 25 March 2025. From this date, players will no longer be able to earn gold points on digital purchases. The platinum coins earned by completing weekly challenges and claimed against physical rewards and icons for Switch profiles will continue. Nintendo has given interesting caveats to the removal of the My Nintendo Gold points scheme.
