In lieu of a 3D download or another entry from the Game Boy or Game Boy Color library, Super Mario Bros. is being offered on the 3DS virtual console as of today. The game that got a whole generation (and then some) into gaming will go for $4.99 (approx £3-4), in line with its 500 point cost on the Wii Virtual Console.
Joining Mario for his 3DS debut is a free demo of Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D. There’s also a new DSiWare title called iSpot Japan, which teaches players facts about Japanese culture as they spot the difference between two pictures.

Hulu will also be coming to 3DS later this year, though a specific time frame has not been given at this time.
