Thundercats on the Nintendo DS

Since the 80s reboot of Thundercats hit Cartoon Network a little less than a year ago, the franchise has hit new heights again. Now, it is coming to the Nintendo DS this summer.

The 2D platformer is being developed by Aspect Digital, publisher Namco Bandai has announced. They previously made various games for the Sega Master System.

The game will be pretty simple, you take the role of Lion-O as he attempts to thwart Mumm-Ra in a side-scrolling kind of fashion, as you’d expect.

Side characters will also feature from the cartoons with special attacks. Each can be accessed with just a tap of the screen.
