Nintendo will launch the Wii U console this year. The console will launch 30th November. The bundles will be the same as the Japanese versions: A White console will be the budget 8GB version. The Black 32GB version Wii U will be also be available. Two AC adaptors – one for the console and one for the controller will be included as will a GamePad. The Sensor bar and Nintendoland will be included in the premium pack unlike the Japanese equivalents.

No information has been set about pricing from Nintendo Europe as they will be set by the retailers – much like the Nintendo Wii and 3DS.

A Nintendo Network Points reward scheme is included with the premium package but works different to the Japanese version. In Europe, points will be earned when games are purchased. The points will then be able to be redeemed. Currently, 500 points will be around £5.

Also announced a Wii Remote Plus Additional set will be made available for gamers who get the Basic bundle. This pack include Wii Remote Plus, Nunchuck and Sensor bar.
