UK Release Date for PS3 Exclusive Twisted Metal

Twisted Metal, the anticipated PlayStation 3 exclusive, will be released in the UK on February 17th, Sony announced today. The destructive driving game is the latest in the Sony long-running franchise, which first began on the classic PlayStation in 1995.

Twisted Metal was originally scheduled for October 2011 but has been delayed till February this year. The US version will be released just before on the14th February. A perfect Valentines present?!

The first group to buy the first batch of copies on the console will also receive a voucher that will enable them to download the 2001 version of the PlayStation2 game, Twisted Metal Black.

February is shaping up to be a strong month for the PlayStation 3 with the release of Soul Calibur V, The Darkness II, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, Final Fantasy XIII-2, PlayStation Vita and now Twisted Metal.

Twisted Metal will make its appearance exclusively for the PlayStation 3 on February 17th.
