Anita is a child augmented with lethal nanomachines, she was randomly selected from the institutes gene bank and now battles with twisted cybernetic experiments to escape. The Apostle is an AI tactical nanomachine that Anita is able to bond and live symbiotically with, the only human able to do so. She names The Apostle “Xiao Hei”.
