White PlayStation Vita with Assassin’s Creed spin off

At Sony’s E3 Conference this year they have announced that a special White PlayStation Vita will launch with an Assassin’s Creed spin off title known as Liberation. The game will tie in to the new American Civil War story but features a new female assassin.

The year is 1765, events leading to the American Revolution are heating up in the north whilst Spanish forces plan to seize Louisiana in the south. Standing in their way is Aveline, a deadly Assassin who will use every weapon and well-honed skill in her arsenal to win freedom for her land and her people. Whether silently eliminating her enemies with lethal chain kills or luring them into deadly traps, Aveline strikes mortal fear into the hearts of those who stand in her way.

Liberation will take Aveline through dangerous New Orleans and using the Vita’s controls such as front and rear touch panels, cameras and gyroscope to provide a unique experience not seen on the home consoles. Assassin’s Creed 3 Liberation will be available on the Vita on 30th October and anyone who pick up both Assassin’s Creed 3 titles for the PlayStation 3 and Vita will receive additional upgrades to ammunition pouches and multiplayer skins.
