Yes, that’s right a new SNES game. Nightmare Busters was originally developed for the SNES a long time ago and was never fully completed or released and Super Figher Team have now confirmed that it’s developing this game for release in 2013.
The reation has been so big that they’ve decided to up the initial run to 600 copies and start accepting preorders now. It’s not cheap though:
- One (1) copy of Nightmare Busters for the Super Nintendo; a game cartridge with full color label, which supports both PAL and NTSC based systems.
- One (1) full color instruction manual.
- One (1) full color cardstock box to house the game cartridge and instruction manual.
- $68 for US customers
- $75 for ROW
There’s no firm release date yet either, so you could be dropping around £60 for a game that you won’t know when it comes out…. you can preorder the game here.
There’s only a limited description of the game, but a “run and gun” is cited with many believing this to be a cartoony style shooting game. Of course, as this game was unreleased in the mid-90s people have got hold of ROMs and done complete playthroughs, such as the one from YouTube below; but it doesn’t mean that Super Fighter Team won’t change everything about it. So watch this space.
