Blaze have now confirmed that a new NeoGeo portable is going to be released in the UK at some point this year. However, the NeoeGeo X isn’t for the light of heart, it’s going to come with 20 games built in, an SD card slot, a small 3.5″ LCD screen and all for £500. Yes, £500.
The NeoGeo has never been cheap, they’ve all bordered on the premium to ultra-premium market in the past and it would appear that Blaze wish this to continue with it’s officially licensed, NeoGeo X.
Blaze’s Jason Cooper said: “The NeoGeo console has always been a personal favourite of mine and I am delighted to be involved with the development of this new handheld console. We hope to re-ignite the excitement many of us felt 21 years ago, in a more affordable manner, to a much wider audience.”
