Peitro & Carlo Orlandi are two brothers who split their time between their day jobs and creating indie games. The latest game from Village Bench is Killer Chambers; a puzzle game that requires lightning reflexes in order to survive, erm, Chambers that are prone to killing.

Presented in a visual novel style overworld, Killer Chambers mixes intense puzzle platforming with bullet-hell stylings. Think Super Meat Boy as a confined puzzler and you won’t be far off. Here’s the full spec:
• Over 40 rooms, each one with 3 levels of difficulty.
• 5 floors with unique traps and bosses.
• More than 500 finely tuned trap patterns.
• A funny story told by dialogues in a visual novel style.
• Many items to help Brave Lord in his adventure.
• 12 hats that grant you special powers
We’re not sure how our thumbs will handle the fast paced action but the pixel art styling and the pumping soundtrack has us intrigued. It’s impressive that the game was created by just two people, with a little help from the amazingly named Rob Overseer who handled the music duties.
Killer Chambers is already on Steam, but releases on the Xbox Store (Xbox One & Series X|S) 12th December and Nintendo Switch on the 14th December for approx £8/€9. Get those thumbs ready!
