Robin To Feature In Arkham City

Along with Batman and Catwoman, it has emerged that Robin will be a playable character in the follow-up to 2008’s Batman Arkham Asylum. For customers in the USA who pre-order the game at Best Buy stores, will be treated to the bonus of the caped crusader’s sidekick – Robin. The good news about this is that he fits the game’s moody look rather than taking inspiration from the 1960s – Burt Ward camp style.

Robin will come complete with his own unique gadgets and special moves, and will be playable in all challenge maps in the game, as well as two additional challenge maps that are included with the pack – Black Mask Hideout and Freight Train Escape.  The pack will also contain a bonus Red Robin character skin.

No news on weather or not this pack will make it to the UK however one would expect so. The game is set for release on 21st October on PS3 and Xbox 360, with a Wii U version coming in 2012. Check out Robin below.
