3DS XL will get a Circle Pad Pro

Japanese gaming bible Famitsu have stated in a recent interview that Nintendo will indeed support the larger 3DS console with an extra large Circle Pad Pro attachment this year. As it is still being worked on, there are no images to show you.

What is clear though that the second circle pad will come with the extra trigger buttons, the same as it’s smaller cousin and will most likely run off a single AAA battery. For those who are upgrading to a 3DS XL this is good news as you’ll be able to play Resident Evil Revelations and Kid Icarus along with other supported titles.

Look out for the Circle Pad Pro XL this year.
