Indie game A Game About Digging A Hole will be getting a console version on 9th December. Developed by Cyberwave and published by rokaplay, players will be able to get their hands on this chill adventure on PlayStation, Switch and Xbox Series consoles.
The game, which is remarkably about digging a rather large hole in your back garden, positions itself as a cheap, relaxing experience for less than the price of a fancy coffee.
A Game About Digging A Hole isn’t just about getting your spade and digging to the other end of the Earth. As players tunnel, they can find treasures and pick up upgrades to help on their adventure.
Developed in a matter of weeks by one person, the game has been out on PC since early 2025 and has racked up 1.2 million sales, along with popularity across Twitch and YouTube. At the time of writing, the games Steam page has it sitting on a Very Positive player review score.
