Hailing from the Alola region, the mythical Zeraora is the latest monster to get a Mega Evolution. In a short video, players can see the Thunderclap Pokémon taking on various monsters in the Mega Dimension.

Mega Zeraora is a pure electric type, that forgoes its normal yellowy body and turns a lovely shade of blue and black. According to the blub:

Zeraora has incredibly high aptitude to begin with, but typically it has an internal limiter that works to contain the electric energy stored within its body. It’s thought that Mega Evolution removes this limiter.

Like most mythical Pokémon, Zeraora will be difficult to catch. A fact that Game Freak is keen to stress throughout this announcement, and hopefully will provide trainers a challenge in the DLC.
