For fans of games that don’t even give you missions, but allow for complete free flow control, with no end goal in sight but your own, Animal Crossing is a blessing. Whilst it’s cute, fluffy and outrageously mind numbing, it’s popular. Super popular. Nintendo know this and that’s why they today apologised.

Yes, they apologised for the delay in getting Animal Crossing 3D onto the Nintendo 3DS. It’s been confirmed for release in 2013 and today they showed off a trailer to the Japanese people of the world. Thanks to YouTube, you can see the trailr above.

From what can be seen, the world’s gone greener than before with solar panels and ou’re now the mayor of the town. Which lets you control more of the items in the town like lamps and benches. This is on top of being given more people in the town, differnet styles of houses and the lack of Tom Nook.
