Carmageddon And Wreckfest Is The Racing Mashup We’ve Been Waiting For
Wreckfest has been getting a lot of love from THQ Nordic with regular updates and challenges. This month sees a crossover that is so spectacular, we never thought it possible as the game is hosting a Carmageddon Tournament throughout August. Not only that but it’s as glorious as you’d expect, full of exploding zombies and zombie cows, as well as a return of that classic car.
The Carmageddon tournament will availble throughout all of August and free to all players. We’re promised:
Carnage Accumulator (Monthly event):
Set in Bleak City, players are free to roam the map and have three minutes to score as many points as possible by wrecking AI cars and eliminating green-blooded zombies.
Death Race (weekly):
A number of racing events set in either Bleak City or Death Canyon, in which the players will race from checkpoint to checkpoint with the Eagle R and cause as much carnage as they can along the way by wrecking rivals and eliminating green-blooded zombies.
You’ll also be able to take part in two different events on the famous Carmageddon tracks Bleck City and Death Canyon and unlock the iconic Eagle R car from Carmageddon Max Damage.
Wreckfest is available now across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S & PC as well as PS4 & Xbox One.
