Commodore 64 Pioneer Dies


Jack Tramiel, the founder of Commodore International, the company best known for manufacturing the Commodore 64, died yesterday at the age of 83.

Tramiel formed Commodore International in 1982, which released the Commodore 64, Commodore 128, and Commodore Amiga. He also founded the Atari Corporation in 1984 after purchasing Atari Inc.’s Consumer Division from Warner.
