To celebrate the release of Ghostbusters Frozen Empire, Bungie has announced new items from the long running franchise will be appearing in Destiny 2. Since Sony acquired Bungie back in 2022, as well as owning the rights to the Ghostbusters franchise, a crossover seemed almost a shoe in, but here are the official images of what players can trap.

The exotic bundle is now live in the Destiny 2 in-game shop and will set you back around 2000 Silver, or £16 in real money. For that, Guardians will snag an Exotic- Slimer shell for Ghost, a Garraka-inspired Exotic Sparrow and, perhaps most importantly, an Ecto-1 themed ship. Each of the items can be bought separately, but to get the most value, we’d suggest the bundle.

Players who purchase either the set or any of the individual items will also be eligible to download a Slimer Ghost Shell papercraft mask, through the Bungie Store at no additional cost. This is only available for a limited time, so it’s best to act quickly before it’s gone for good.

The latest Destiny 2 tie-in comes at a time where Bungie are preparing for the next expansion – The Final Shape, which is due out in June. This has been delayed slightly so players will see a bonus chapter Destiny 2: Into the Light release on 9th April. This will take place during the current Season of the Wish campaign but will be available to all players and is set to bring some interesting changes to the game.

Destiny 2 is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. Our full review of Destiny 2 can be found here.
