Disgaea 6 Complete Announced For PS5, PS4 & PC

NIS America have announced that the complete version of Disgaea 6 will be releasing for PlayStation consoles and PC later in the year. This version features the base game, all previous DLC and some new collector’s editions.

Disgaea 6 Complete revolves around Zed, a zombie who is on a quest to defeat the God of Destruction terrorizing the Netherworld, a parallel universe inhabited by demons. The Nintendo Switch last year and our Drew had a few words to say about it in his 7/10 review:

There’s plenty to enjoy for returning fans and newcomers alike, though I warn first-timers to be aware of the emphasis on grinding to a ridiculous rate, and to be ready to have AI completing more battles than you in the long run. If you’re someone who enjoys fine tuning party management and are happy to leave the hands-on battle management to the robots, I think Disgaea 6 is definitely one for you, dood!

The Complete version of Disgaea looks to have crisper visuals and hopefully a smoother experience compared to the Switch version, which did need a few post launch patches. For PlayStation players, we’re not 100% clear on if the PS4 version includes a next gen upgrade but have reached out to NIS America to clarify.

NIS America have also announced a limited edition for Disgaea 6 Complete which does look rather tasty:

The complete edition has only been announced for PlayStation 5, PS4 & PC so Switch owners will still have to buy all of the DLC to have a complete experience, but we hope that NIS America will reconsider this.

In the meantime, Disgaea 6 Complete is due out on PS5, PS4 & PC at some point later in the year.
