Download Your 10 FREE NES Games NOW

For those people who bought a Nintendo 3DS and activated the e-shop before 12th August, you can now head to the store on the handheld and download the first wave of games! These are the NES titles, with the GBA games heading to the console later in the year. The list of games are as follows:

• Super Mario Bros
• The Legend Of Zelda
• Zelda II: The Adventure Of Link
• NES Open Tournament Golf
• Donkey Kong Jr.
• Balloon Fight
• Ice Climber
• Mario & Yoshi
• Wrecking Crew
• Metroid

Nintendo recommend that players download a “Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Certificate” as further information on the ten remaining titles will be made available later in the year. But with 10 NES games to play through, this should keep you busy until then!

Also, beware that since many people will be downloading these titles, that download times could be slow!
